If I’m not in my studio then you will find me scouring a local beach for more sea glass!
In the United Kingdom it is a legal requirement to hallmark an item of jewellery over a certain weight if it is described as either partly or wholly made of gold, silver, platinum or palladium at the point of sale. I use Sterling Silver for all of my designs. Therefore any items of jewellery that are over 7.78g will carry the appropiate hallmarkings. Green Designs by Sharon is registered at the Edinburgh Assay Office and my makers mark is GDS. All items over 7.78g* will have this mark.
*the weight of the silver only, not including the sea glass.*
All silver items under the weight of 7.78g do not require hallmarking and to keep costs down for customers I only send items over 7.78g for hallmarking.
Items are usually despatched within 24-48 hours of placing order. This obviously will be longer for commission or made to order pieces.
All items will be sent via Royal Mail.
Items until £20 will be sent Royal Mail Tracked 24 and P&P costs £4.
Items over £20 will be sent Royal Mail Tracked 24 with signature and P&P costs £5.80.
Once items have been posted I will email proof of postage with tracking details.
I may use Royal Mail recorded delivered for some items, but again all tracking details will be sent once item has been posted.
